5 PS5 Games to Play This Weekend (August 22 - August 24)
Between some exciting new releases and other games to prepare for August and September's highlights, PS5 owners have a lot to play this weekend.
This week's Gamescom showcase delivered a slew of exciting announcements for games arriving in the remainder of 2025, but none seemed to be as climactic as the reveal that Hollow Knight: Silksongwould finally release on September 4. In just two weeks, players will be able to get their hands on the long-awaited Silksong, including PS5 owners, making now a perfect time to start clearing out the backlog. With the weekend now upon us, there are a handful of games new to PS5 this week that players should try and set aside some time for, especially before the deluge of new releases arriving in the last week of August and beyond.
