Xbox squandered any good will it had left with its new "upgrade" for Game Pass. While they thought raising the price by 50 percent was an update, people were busy Googling how to cancel their subscriptions. Even retailers started hitting back, with the likes of GameStop continuing to sell Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at the original price.
