Tuesday, August 19 is shaping up to be a particularly big day for PlayStation Plus subscribers signed up for the Extra and Premium tiers.
PlayStation Plus subscribers signed up for the Extra or Premium tiers of the service can play day one game Sword of the Sea at no additional cost come Tuesday, August 19. It's not often that PlayStation Plus features day one games, but the service has seen a handful of day one releases in 2025, including some rather heavy hitters.
