Baldur's Gate 3 Successor Will Happen, But WOTC Is Focused Its Other D&D Project For Now
WotC says it's definitely making Baldur's Gate 4 at some point, but its next game isn't that.
Larian has moved on from Baldur's Gate 3 and won't be returning for another entry in the series. Besides the occasional maintenance updates, the game won't be receiving any new content or DLC. Of course, this doesn't mean that we've seen the end of the series; Wizards of the Coast has found a gold mine in that respect.
