Battlefield 6 Developer Could Be Sold Off If It Doesn't Rival Black Ops 7
According to analysts, Battlefield 6's success could determine whether or not EA wants to keep Dice after the buyout.

The gaming industry is still bracing itself for the effects of the EA buyout. If the acquisition gets through, which it is expected to, then EA will be owned by a group of investors, most notably including companies run by the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Given their conservative politics, many fear that this could impact the more progressive developers owned by EA. However, there is another threat - mass layoffs, studio closures, or studios being sold off.
