Battlefield 6 Downplays The Franchise’s Most Important Tradition
One of Battlefield’s defining traits was embraced during BF6’s marketing campaign, but a few odd choices see it taking a backseat in-game.
Battlefield 6 is proving to be a true return to form for the franchise, as it checks numerous items off the community’s wish list following the poorly received Battlefield 2042. BF6’s strong reviews are likely a direct result of listening to players, as the list of positives ranges from stellar destruction and smooth gunplay to rewarding class play and a deep pool of content. Still, there are nitpicks that have to be addressed. Players aren’t happy with Battlefield 6’s UI, its map pool remains divisive, and for me, it doesn’t commit nearly enough to the tried and true method of PTFO.
