Who would have thought that such humble beginnings would lead to an all-timer?
While the trailers were exciting, nothing could have prepared us for how good Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 actually would turn out to be. Memorable characters, a beautifully tragic story, gorgeous artwork, a fun twist on turn-based combat, and, of course, Ben Starr. Sandfall Interactive has not only put out one of the best games of the year, but perhaps even an all-timer.
