Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle made $70 million at the US box office this weekend, smashing a record held by the first Pokemon movie since 1999.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle hit theaters worldwide last week, and although it was expected to do well with anime fans, particularly in Japan, its opening weekend box office numbers are better than anyone could have imagined. So good that it has smashed a record Pokemon held for more than 25 years.
