Doom is getting a $175 collector's edition on the Super Nintendo this week
Limited Run has worked with one of the creators of Doom to re-release a definitive edition of the original game on SNES with its own controller.
Doom is a cornerstone of the video game industry. It lives on not only via new installments, the latest of which is only two months old, but also because people still want to play the original all these years later. That's why, in 2025, the OG Doom is being re-released on the Super Nintendo.
