Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined was announced at Nintendo's big Direct last week, and one of my first thoughts upon seeing it was "they surely can't keep everything the same." That's because Dragon Quest 7 is a notoriously long game, known for being an absolute behemoth even among other JRPGs, and the pacing of the story suffered greatly as a result.
