Prepare to watch your head explode over and over in Escape From Tarkov
When Battlestate Games invited me to play the upcoming 1.0 build of Escape From Tarkov at PAX West earlier this month, I knew I was going to get wrecked. I’ve avoided the preeminent extraction shooter since it launched in beta back in 2017, because I know it has a reputation for being brutally difficult, and life’s already hard enough. With 1.0 launching this November, it felt like the right time to give it a shot/get shot.
