Your first encounter with The Legion in Fallout: New Vegas goes about as well as any other encounter with Caesar's barbaric horde. A single survivor runs out of a burning town full of crucified Powder Gangers, screaming that he won the lottery, before an unsettlingly calm man wearing a skinned coyote head tells you to spread the word of what you witnessed in the ruins of Nipton.
