GameStop's Infamous Nintendo Switch 2 Stapler Is Being Auctioned
Gamestop is holding a charity auction for the stapler that ruined a bunch of Nintendo Switch 2s, and the bidding has already reached $100,000.
Earlier this year, at the peak of Nintendo Switch 2 fever, a random GameStop in Staten Island managed to make the news for all the wrong reasons. Eager to push as many consoles through the door as they could - and a broken AC unit that had stickers melting - excited GameStop employees began stapling receipts directly onto the box of the Nintendo Switch 2, only for the people who purchased those Switch 2s to quickly find out why those GameStop employees really shouldn't have done that.
