Good JRPGs With Boring Protagonists
Despite their bland protagonists, these JRPGs are still top-tier.
JRPGs have the capacity to create some of the most interesting, deep, and memorable characters in any video game, but these words are almost never used to describe the protagonist themself. Often, a JRPG protagonist is a self-insert for the player, letting you more easily immerse yourself in the game through the eyes of that character.
