A Vassal Lost is a secret side quest that can only be unlocked when playing Hollow Knight: Silksong on Steel Soul mode. Here's how to complete it.
Hollow Knight: Silksong players who complete the game (or press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right on the Extras menu) will unlock a special permadeath mode. Other than losing all of one's progress when Hornet dies, Steel Soul mode plays out much the same as a regular playthrough, only with two major differences.
