You'll be repeatedly struck by lightning if you attempt the Atago Bamboo Strike, but thankfully there is a way around that.
There are several bamboo strikes across Ghost of Yotei, and they're mostly a straightforward affair. You go up to the podiums, tap the buttons on screen in order at a fast enough rate, and you earn some spirit points. There's not a lot that can be done to help with that - learn the button combos and tap them fast enough. Do or die.
