Remakes, like the Bloober Team version of Silent Hill 2, often rule the roost. Not this time, as Silent Hill f is outselling it.
Silent Hill f is selling three times faster than last year’s Silent Hill 2 remake. How do you explain that? As the first full-length, all-new game in the series for over a decade, Silent Hill f has been buoyed by glowing reviews, but so was Silent Hill 2. With both landingat an 86 aggregate on Metacritic, their critical praise is identical, which makes it extremely surprising that the entirely new entry is outselling the return of a much-loved classic.
