James Gunn's Superman is the highest-grossing Superman movie ever at the US box office, taking the record from Man of Steel.
James Gunn's rebooted DCU has officially begun via Superman, and it's off to a flying start. The new movie has grossed $292 million so far in the US alone. Not only is that a very impressive number, but it also means it is already the highest-grossing Superman movie ever domestically, overtaking Man of Steel.
