Itch Blocks Adult Game Developer Pages In The UK
Adult content on Itch is now being affected by the Online Safety Act as well as pressure groups, as developer and author profiles are restricted.
For several weeks, adult content online has faced restrictions across the board, whether it's through pressure groups targeting payment processors, or governments trying to make it harder to access adult material without proving that you are over 18. Now, it appears that Itch has rolled out another measure to comply with the latter, as some game developers and authors on the site have discovered that their pages cannot be viewed within the UK anymore.
