Sometimes, as a Dungeon Master, you may encounter a player who's suffering from an acute case of MCS, or Main Character Syndrome. It's not always their fault. Sometimes, they slip into this mindset, and it's up to you as a DM to pull them out of it. For those who don't know, Main Character Syndrome in Dungeons & Dragons is when one player decides that they are the 'protagonist' of the campaign.
