In a world obsessed with IP and nostalgia, it's hardly surprising that we see fans clamouring for Nintendo to bring back some of its beloved, legacy franchises, whether it's Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Wario Land, F-Zero, or Punch-Out. But, according to former developer Ken Watanabe, who worked on New Super Mario Wii, Pikmin 3, and Splatoon, that's not how the console giant works.
