No Straight Roads walked so Hi-Fi Rush could run. That sentiment has remained in my head ever since Tango Gameworks’ character-action masterpiece burst onto the scene in the early months of 2023. Hi-Fi Rush combined exuberant visuals, incredible music, and strong beat-driven combat to create one of the most unique games in recent memory. But three years earlier, there was a little game called No Straight Roads.
