Overwatch 2 has had a tumultuous history. Since its launch back in 2022, there have been a series of ups and downs for Blizzard's hero shooter. Marketed as a brand-new era for the series, Overwatch 2 has continued to be embroiled in controversy because of divisive developer decisions, but recent words from game director Aaron Keller could be pointing toward a silver lining.
