Overwatch 2 Needs an Evangelion Collaboration: A Perfect Match
There's no more obvious of a brand crossover collaboration with Overwatch 2 than Neon Genesis Evangelion, and not just because of Dva.
Developers and publishers want to know what their audiences want. That’s nothing new. Blizzard Entertainment, especially, has gotten good (mostly) at picking collaboration winners. When it comes to my live-service game of choice, Overwatch 2’s hits far outweigh the misses. From Cowboy Bebop to K-Pop group LE SSERAFIM, the hero shooter’s collabs strike a balance between inspired design and whale bait.
