Perfect Dark Deal With Take-Two Reportedly Collapsed
Take-Two reportedly wanted to buy Perfect Dark from Microsoft, but an agreement couldn't be made.
Earlier this year, when Microsoft performed yet another round of mass layoffs, leaving thousands of people without a job, several video games were also canned as a result. One of the most notable was The Initiative's Perfect Dark reboot, which got an extensive gameplay trailer during last year's Xbox Game Showcase. It was later found to be largely fake, with a few real elements sprinkled in, but it was gameplay.
