Players Discuss Games They Only Finished Out Of Spite
I hate you so much, I've no recourse but to defeat you.
Ever beat a game fueled by naught but spite? I have. To some - many, perhaps - that's just plain bizarre. I get it. "If you don't like a game," they'll wonder, "then why not simply stop playing?" What if you've invested enough time into it, I'd clap back, that you've knowingly succumbed to sunk-cost fallacy? Or, what if the frustration you feel becomes something you feel you can only overcome through sheer grit?
