Darksiders 3 sacrificed the series' identity to chase trends, but Darksiders 4 has a chance to right that wrong.
Everyone used to poke fun at games journalists for calling everything ‘the Dark Souls of X’ — and yeah, it was a pretty cheap and shortsighted way to describe something being ‘difficult’. But lately, it really does feel like everything has a shade of Dark Souls.
