Pokemon TCG Pocket Players Have Found The “Reference Materials” Used For The Buzzwole Immersive Rare
It's not quite as egregious as the Ho-Oh ex.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has faced its first major controversy over the last week. Ahead of the launch of the new Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion, players spotted that the inbound Ho-Oh ex Immersive Rare looked suspiciously similar to some fan art from years earlier. This prompted DeNA to release a statement, pulling the card, alongside the Lugia ex Immersive Rare, from packs, replacing them with placeholder cards (which players have had a lot of fun with). The company then had to release a second statement, asking players not to harass the card's illustrator, blaming the situation on a mix-up of "reference materials".
