There are some big introductions to the lore in Danny Boyle's latest zombie sequel, 28 Years Later.
28 Days Later was a small movie that premiered in the UK in 2002 before being released in North America in 2003. After a small reprieve, 28 Weeks Later was released in 2007. After that, the series went on hiatus, even though work on a sequel started and stopped numerous times.
