There Is One Thing Stopping Me From Falling In Love With Borderlands 4

Borderlands 4 is a classic case of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ with its familiar take on the looter shooter formula that combines satisfying gunplay with an endless pile of weapons to collect. I’m also quite enjoying its narrative so far as well, especially the side missions that introduce you to an assortment of colourful characters, each with their own stories to tell. I found myself getting choked up after helping a missile that failed to launch finally achieve her lofty dreams of lighting up the night sky. If it keeps this up, it might be one of my favourites of the year.
