These oddball creatures might not be the most powerful monsters in DND, but they certainly are the most bizarre.
Whether you're a Dungeon Master building an encounter or a player trying to understand what it is they're even looking at, coming face-to-face with terrifying or powerful monsters is essential to any Dungeons & Dragons game. Some monsters, like beholders, are creatures we're all relatively familiar with. But, I'd be willing to bet that even some of the most seasoned DND players out there aren't familiar with these strange monsters in this list.
