Stealth games were a dime a dozen in the early 2000s. While the initial trailer for Assassin’s Creedlooked promising, largely because of its impressive parkour, it wasn’t anything spectacular. That is, until the big twist reveals that the game took place in the present day, with missions being based on time travel through genetics.
