Tomb Raider Developer Announces Layoffs Due To "Evolving Business Conditions"
Crystal Dynamics appears to still be reeling from Perfect Dark's cancellation.
It's been a brutal year for the games industry in terms of layoffs, capped off by what was described as an "inhumane" round of layoffs by Microsoft, which saw thousands of people lose their jobs across all the company's departments. We saw the closure of The Initiative, massive cuts at Forza developer Turn 10, and the cancellation of previously announced Xbox titles like Contraband and Perfect Dark.
