Ubisoft Appoints CEO's Son as Co-CEO of New Subsidiary
Ubisoft officially announces that its new subsidiary is hiring the co-founder's son to serve as Co-CEO of the new spinoff publishing company.
Ubisoft has announced that the son of co-founder Yves Guillemot will serve as Co-CEO of its new subsidiary. Backed by Tencent, the new subsidiary will focus on several popular franchises owned by the publisher, including Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and even Rainbow Six. This news follows the recent layoff of 19 employees at Red Storm Entertainment, the Ubisoft studio that was founded in part by Tom Clancy.
