Ubisoft Reportedly Cancelled A Post-Civil War Assassin's Creed Game For Being "Too Political"
The game was deemed to be "too political in a country too unstable".
Assassin's Creed has been running as a series for almost two decades, taking us to almost every corner of the globe during dozens of different periods of time, but despite having a particularly interesting history that would be rich for exploring, Ubisoft has been a little hesitant to explore the United States. You have to go all the way back to the release of Assassin's Creed 3 in 2012 to find the only mainline title set in the US.
