Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is one of those games that's been in development forever. First announced in 2019, the game went through developmental hell, as various senior devswere fired, the game almost got cancelled, finally ended up in the hands of another studio, and eventually re-revealed. Of course, it was delayed once again after that.
