Battlefield 6 Gets Easier To Launch With New Steam Update
Steam's system information menu will now tell you whether Secure Boot is enabled. If not, you still have to toggle it manually in the BIOS.
Earlier this year, in August, ahead of the open Battlefield 6 beta, EA confirmed that to launch the game on PC, you would need to enable Secure Boot on Windows. This is also true of the full launch next week, and for good reason: much as with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, it's a security measure to make it harder for hackers to utilise kernel-level cheats.
