Penny Blood Developers Wrote A Novel Instead Of Making The Game
Not a good sign.
Three years ago, a joint Kickstarter campaign was announced with the dual purpose of funding the spiritual successors to not one, but two, cult-classic JRPG series. Both projects were being spearheaded by their original directors. It was a cause of great excitement among many, myself included. The campaign was fully funded. Production got underway in earnest. Things have been bleak ever since.
