PS5 SSDs To Go From 1TB To 825GB Without A Price Cut, Leak Claims
A new report claims the new PS5 model will have a smaller SSD in an attempt to cut production costs and prevent further price hikes.
PlayStation finally caved last month, following in Xbox and Nintendo's footsteps and increasing the MSRP of its current-gen consoles. Apparently, it's fearful that it might have to raise those prices even more, and to avoid that, evidence has surfaced suggesting the PS5 slim's SSD will be reduced in size, but its price will remain the same.
